Terms of Use
Last updated: October 16, 2026 · Version française
Selfiest is the worldwide selfie game: one challenge a week, one live selfie, one point for your country. The service is operated by Snob Technologies, S.L. (see the legal notice). By creating an account, you accept these terms.
1. Who can play
- Selfiest is open to people aged 13 and over.
- In France, between 13 and 15, a parent must first give consent (link sent by email). Until then, the account cannot post or exchange selfies.
- One account per person. Your date of birth and country must be accurate; your country can only be changed once a year.
2. The game
- Every week brings a challenge (a face, a pose, an outfit…). Your selfie is taken live in the app: front camera, or the rear camera facing a mirror when the challenge allows it. No photos from your camera roll.
- Your selfie scores for your country in the ranking, takes a cell in the challenge mosaic and can be copied by other players (“mirror”).
- You can vote for the favourite of the week and for the next challenge, post free selfies on your wall, and exchange selfies with mutual friends.
- Rules, challenges, rankings and symbolic rewards may change. No prize or money is attached to the game.
3. Content rules: zero tolerance
The following are forbidden in selfies, captions, usernames and messages:
- nudity and any sexual content;
- violence, weapons, self-harm, drugs;
- hate, harassment, threats, mocking a person;
- another person’s face without their consent, and any image of a minor in an inappropriate situation;
- impersonation, spam, advertising, and any illegal content.
Every selfie is checked before it is published, automatically and by our team when needed. You can report a selfie or a player and block them from the app. We handle reports within 24 hours and may refuse or remove content, suspend or delete an account, without notice in case of serious breach.
4. Your selfies
- You keep ownership of your selfies.
- You grant us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display them in Selfiest (feeds, mosaics, rankings, votes, your wall) and, if enabled, on your public page selfiest.com/your-username. This licence ends when you delete the selfie or your account.
- We do not use your selfies for advertising outside Selfiest without your consent.
- You choose the visibility: challenge selfies visible to the world or to friends, free selfies visible to friends or everyone; public page and mosaic presence can be turned off in settings.
5. Friends and messages
Messages are limited to mutual friends and only contain live selfies and preset phrases. They are checked like any other selfie. You can remove or block a friend at any time.
6. Free of charge
Selfiest is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
7. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Selfiest running without interruption, but cannot guarantee it. You are responsible for what you post. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Deleting your account
In Settings › Delete my account, in one tap. Your selfies, messages, friends and notifications are deleted and your email address is anonymised. See the privacy policy.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; for important changes, we will let you know in the app. These terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving you of the protection granted by the mandatory rules of your country of residence. Before any dispute, write to us: support@selfiest.com.
